One of the most common complaints from residents of condominiums, apartments, and townhomes is noise transfer from neighboring units. The unwanted sound can be in the form of footsteps from an above unit, TV and music from the unit next door, or humming from some piece of equipment on the rooftop. It is often the case that this noise can result in a significant diminishment in a resident’s reasonable enjoyment of their home, and in some cases the noise can result in a considerable decrease in quality of life.
